Holtzman Named MWC Women’s Outdoor Track And Field Performer Of The Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Gwen Holtzman ’19 has been named a Midwest Conference Women’s Track and Field Performer of the Week.
Holtzman, from Las Cruces, N.M. (Las Cruces), earned the honor for track events after jumping into the Grinnell all-time top 10 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Monmouth College Fighting Scots Invitational Saturday. Her time of 1:09.40 placed third in the event and ranks seventh in program history. She is ranked fifth in the MWC this season.
The field performer of the week is Eva Laun-Smith of Beloit College.
