BMX bike and Skate Park up for $50,000 grant

The proposed Oskaloosa BMX Bike and skate park is only one step away from receiving a $50,000 grant. The project was accepted by the Pepsi Grant Program and is now up for voting on their website. In order for the project to win the grant, it must receive the most number of votes in their category.

In order to vote for the project,organizers ask you to sign up on the pepsi refresh website by clicking HERE. Once you have signed up to vote, click on the $50,000 tab listed under all the categories. After you do this, click on the vote for pull down menu and select NEAR YOU. After this all you have to do is scroll down on the page until you see the project name. The project name is “X-Up! Sk-8! Help Oskaloosa kids GRIND OUT new bmx-skatepark downtown”. After this all you have to do is click on the “vote for this idea” tab and you will be all set.

You are allowed to vote once a day. Voting will end on December 31st. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get Oskaloosa a new BMX Bike and Skate Park.
