Vidushi Sinha is women’s golf All-American

GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second year in a row, Grinnell College is represented on the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf All-American Team.

Vidushi Sinha ’19, from Gurgaon, Haryana, India (Shri Ram School), was named second-team All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Additionally, she was named to the All-Central Region Team for the second year in a row, as was her twin sister, Vrishali Sinha ’19.

Vidushi Sinha enjoyed a stellar season in which she claimed four tournament titles, claimed runner-up honors three times and finished with a 74.3 stroke average. She was second in the Midwest Conference Tournament behind her sister.

Vrishali Sinha also had a solid year, winning the MWC championship as well as another tournament. She also placed second twice and had a 75.3 stroke average.

Vidushi’s stroke average was second-best among D-III golfers and Vrishali’s ranked fifth.

The twins led Grinnell to its fourth MWC team title in a row while breaking the league record with a three-day score of 981. The Pioneers’ round of 323 on the second day also was an all-time tournament best.
