Indians Boys Track and Field Compete At Panther Relays
OHS Boys Head Coach Mike Sterner said, “Our young men were back in action Saturday at the Knoxville Panther Relays. Our tracksters came out ready to compete. We came away with 25 new PR bests and 6 of 7 relays set new season best times. Highlights for our Indians started with breaking the school record again in the Sprint Medley(Casey Hill, Andy Sterner, Seth Howard, Bennett Spry), then our 4×800 ran away with the gold in a new season best time(Talon Munger, Jacob Hacker, Iszac Schultz, and Carter Huyser). Carter Huyser cotinues to grow in the 800, also winning. We went 1st and 2nd in the High Jump with Jack Moore and Seth Howard.”
“Our coaches continue to be optimistic about the season and look forward to a really good week, which will culminate with the 90th Osky Relays Saturday. We would love to hear you in the stands at Lacey Stadium Saturday!”
