7th Grade Girls Basketball Defeated By Pella

The 7th grade girl’s A team were in action last Thursday night as they took on Pella! The girls executed our Pick and Roll offense very well on the night, constantly being able to find the roller for good shots! We were also able to use the height of our post player to our advantage with our in-bounds plays to get some easy baskets. We played tough and aggressive man to man defense, staying low and contesting shots. The girls worked hard and gave great effort just as they have all season, but came up short losing the game 30-19.

The B team came out aggressive attacking the basket with the pick and roll offense. The girls also found success getting the ball down to the post where we were able to get a number of good looks! The girls played good defense contesting shots and stopping drives. The B team gave tremendous effort and came away with the win 18-15!

The C team continued to find success using the two man part of our triangle offense to get great looks driving to the basket. The girls played good defense contesting shots and stopping drives. The C team gave tremendous effort and came up just short losing the game 14-10!

All of the 7th grade girls improved tremendously during the season in all areas of the game. They have worked really hard to get better each and every day at practice. We would like to thank all of you that came out and supported us during the season!
