Nora Faith Bruxvoort infant daughter of Joel and Sarah (Hessing) Bruxvoort of Oskaloosa, was born into this world at 5:38 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Nora weighed 1lb.14 oz. and measured 12 ¼ inches. Ten hours later, she was received into the loving hands of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by her parents. Nora was cherished greatly during her ten hours on this earth and her family eagerly awaits the day they will see her again in Glory.

Nora is survived by her parents, Joel and Sarah (Hessing) Bruxvoort, and two siblings, Abigail and Charlie all of Oskaloosa; Nora’s paternal grandparents, Duane & Dot (De Ronde) Bruxvoort of Pella; her maternal grandparents, Dale & Deb (Van Maanen) Hessing of Oskaloosa; Nora’s paternal great grandparents Dick & Linda (Steenhoek) Bruxvoort of Montezuma; her maternal great grandfather, Duane Van Maanen and his wife Mary of Pella; her paternal great-great grandmother, Anna Mae (Jabaai) Steenhoek of Pella; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Kryn & Dorothy (Van Weelden) De Ronde and maternal great grandparents: Janice (Rus) Van Maanen and John and Doris (Bruxvoort) Hessing.

A private family service will be held.
Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Oskaloosa Christian School.
