Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group will again be sponsoring Eggs & Issues. The legislative forum gives area residents an opportunity to learn more about state, county, and local issues. The setting is informal and encourages those attending to personally meet and speak to their elected representatives.
This year’s dates and panels are as follows:
January 14 – City, County and School representatives
January 28 – Rep.Guy VanderLinden, Sen. Ken Roozenboom, Rep. Larry Sheets
February 11 – Rep. Guy VanderLinden, Sen. Ken Roozenboom, Rep. Larry Sheets
February 25 – Bill Northey, Secretary of Agriculture
March 11 – Rep. Guy VanderLinden, Sen. Ken Roozenboom, Rep. Larry Sheets
March 25 – Still tentative on panel.
The group will meet at Smokey Row on the square in downtown Oskaloosa from 8:30 – 9:30 AM. MidWestOne Bank will provide complimentary coffee.
All of the sessions will be reported on through Osky News, the Oskaloosa Herald, KBOE Radio, KIIC Radio, New Sharon Sun, and CRI. We hope you will join us!
