Gov. Branstad appoints Shawn R. Showers District Court Judge

(DES MOINES) – Gov. Terry E. Branstad today appointed Shawn R. Showers judge to the District Court in the 8A Judicial District created by the retirement of the Honorable Daniel P. Wilson.
Showers, of Washington, IA received his law degree from Washburn University School of Law and undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa. He currently serves as the Washington County Attorney.
Judicial District 8A includes Appanoose, Davis, Jefferson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Monroe, Poweshiek, Van Buren, Wapello and Washington Counties.
