Oskaloosa Homecoming week is September 26th – 30th. The theme this year is Olympic based and titled, ¨Go for Gold¨. The Homecoming parade will be on Thursday September 29th beginning at 6:30 pm. If interested in being a part of the parade and either having a float or walking to represent, please contact Mrs. Gile at the high school for more information at 641-673-3407. The high school students will participate in dress up days during the week. The schedule for homecoming week is as follows:
Monday–Powder puff football will follow the jv football game at 7:30 at Lacey Stadium
Tuesday–Varsity volleyball game in Norwalk & Cross Country meet in Knoxville. Powder puff volleyball starts at 7:30 at the high school. Go cheer on your Indians!
Thursday–Homecoming parade on the square beginning at 6:30 with coronation to follow at the Community Stadium.
Friday–Varsity football against the Fairfield Trojans. Go Indians!
If you are taking part in the parade, the Oskaloosa Police Department and the Oskaloosa Student Council ask that you do not throw candy out to the crowd, you must hand it out.
Student Council is also in need of convertibles for the homecoming court to ride in. If you have one, or know of someone who has one and would let them use it, please call 641-673-3407
