Satellite Absentee Voting Station To Be Located On William Penn Campus

Susan L. Brown, Mahaska County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, today announced that a satellite absentee voting station will be provided for Mahaska County voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot for the November 8, 2016 General Election. The satellite voting station will be located in the Dana M. Atkins Memorial Union, Chief Mahaska Room, 1401 North Market on the William Penn University campus and is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Absentee ballots will be available as well as registration forms for those who need to change name and / or address or to register for the first time in Mahaska County. Deadline to early register to vote for this election is Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 5 p.m.

Absentee voters may also vote in person at the County Auditor’s Office in Oskaloosa through Monday November 7, 2016, at 5:00 P.M. Courthouse hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
