Bart Walter Vroegh, age 56, of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away suddenly at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Bart was born on March 2, 1960, to Clarence and Donna (Ludemann) Vroegh in Long Beach, California.

Bart was raised in Eddyville and graduated from Eddyville High School with the class of 1978.

Bart is survived by his mother, Donna Vroegh; sister, Barb Vroegh; his special friend, Crystal Breuklander and her family; step daughter, Jackie (& Don) Yarbrough; three step grandchildren: Tripp, Henry, and Grace; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded by his father.

A memorial for Bart will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel. Bart’s family will be greeting friends during this time.
Bart’s wishes were to be cremated.
A private family burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville, Iowa. The Eddyville Funeral Chapel is assisting Bart’s family with services.
A memorial has been established to the VFW or the American Legion.
