Getting to the Bottom of Tree Problems – Growing Season webinar to be held July 12

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting the seventh annual “Growing Season “ webinars (programs viewed over the internet) at multiple locations across Iowa this summer.

This series is offered by the Iowa Master Gardener program and is open to all interested gardeners. Participants are not required to have completed master gardener training to attend. Each of the three webinars will feature an Iowa State University faculty or staff member presenting the two-hour program.

Gardeners will learn about tree problems at the webinar to be viewed July 12 at the Mahaska County Extension office. Getting to the Bottom of Tree Problems will feature Lina Rodriguez-Salamanca, ISU Extension and Outreach Plant Pathologist and Diagnostician with the Plant and Insect Clinic. Webinar participants will become familiar with some of the common symptoms of tree problems and learn what to keep an eye out for. Mahaska county viewing of this webinar will be Tuesday July 12 at Noon or 6:30 pm at the Mahaska County Extension office; 212 North I Street Oskaloosa. Please note this is a different date than originally announced. The program is open to the public and without a fee to attendees.
