Martha) Grace (Rozenberg) Binns, 94, of Oskaloosa died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the MHP Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa. She was born May 27, 1922, in Pella, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Daisy Mathews Rozenberg.

In 1937, Grace made her Confession of Faith at First Reformed Church in Pella. She graduated from Pella High School with the class of 1940. On April 18, 1943, she was united in marriage to Wilbur E. Binns at Camp Rucker, Alabama. Wilbur died July 17, 2002.

Grace worked for many years as a scale attendant and bookkeeper at Kaiser Corp. Last she worked as a sales associate for Spurgeons in Oskaloosa.

Grace volunteered at the snack bar at the hospital and the Ecumenical Cupboard.
She joined Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa in 1970. She was very involved in church serving in women’s ministries and held several offices within those organizations. Last she served as treasurer for Faith Circle, a position she held for many years. Grace enjoyed collecting lighthouses. She delighted in spending time with her family.

Grace is survived by 5 daughters: Beverly K. (& Don) Hutchinson, Connie J. (& Steve) Kime, Shirley H. (& Jerry) Kime, Marcia A. Aalsburg (Nile Lafrenz of Pleasant Hill), all of Oskaloosa, and Linda S. (& John) Dixon of Olathe, Kansas; 10 grandchildren: Shari (& Rick) Giudicessi, Larry Septer, Bryan (& Becky) Kime, Jeff (& Karissa) Kime, Jay (& Carol) Kime, Angelia (& Scott) Bouslog, Amy Greer, Rev. Spencer (& Julia) Aalsburg, Tonja (& Scott) Higgins, Todd (& Christal) Dixon; step grandchildren: Lucinda Ramsey, Lisa (& Bill) Flahive, and Lori (& Greg) Swiderski; great grandchildren: Leanna (& Allen) Denton, Jacob Kime, Kaylee Kime, Katelyn Kime, Cody Kime, Brandt Bouslog, Barrett Bouslog, Boden Bouslog, Dominic Greer, Jerzi Johnson, Emily Aalsburg, Hannah Aalsburg, David Aalsburg, Geneva Aalsburg, Majesta Dixon, and Braxton Dixon; step great grandchildren: Tony (& Megan) Giudicessi, Ann Marie Giudicessi, Melissa Ramsey, David Ramsey, Jason Ramsey, Amy (& Garrett) Venema, Aaron Flahive, Megan (& Patrick) Martin, Dr. Chris Hoffman; great great granddaughter, Quinn Greer; step great great grandchildren: Gigi Giudicessi, Ricky Giudicessi, Leena Ramsey, Caden Ramsey, Millee Flahive, Kamry Venema, Mackenzie Martin, Noah Martin, and Gideon Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Grace was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Harold and Don Rozenberg, and Glen Burdick; and three sisters, Dorothy Brooks, Mildred Williams, and Wilma Rozenberg.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in the Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa with Reverends Jon Nelson and Spencer Aalsburg officiating.
A family prayer service will be at 10:15, Wednesday morning in the basement of the church.
Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will begin Tuesday morning after 11:00 in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 6-8 Tuesday evening to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to MHP Hospice Serenity House.
