Sattz Ends Career as NAIA Scholar-Athlete

Oskaloosa–Steven Sattz (Sr., Pickering, Ontario, Physical Education) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athlete Wednesday.

Sattz, who owned a 3.98 Grade Point Average entering the spring, joined a list of 353 baseball athletes from within the NAIA to be awarded the laurel.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
