MCRF Gifts Face Masks to the Recreation Complex

CPR Pocket Masks were donated to fill the boxes and have replacement masks's onhand. This is the second generous donation received from MHP to MCRF for youth sports, showing  continued partnership and support of local youth and youth activities.

Mahaska Community Recreation Foundation’s Operations Committee hosts a safety meeting annually for the sports organizations that use theLacey Recreation Complex . The meeting was held in February of this year and it was noted that CRP face masks were needed. Mahaska Health Partnership was happy to help us fill teh needed safety equipment and fill our Personal Protective Equipment boxes kept on the premises at concessions stands. Fourteen CPR Pocket Masks were donated to fill the boxes and have replacement masks’s onhand. This is the second generous donation received from MHP to MCRF for youth sports, showing continued partnership and support of local youth and youth activities. In 2014 Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Renee Edgar and MHP Education Coordinator nurse, Tonya Dyson gave a demonstration of AED usage to the user groups at the Health & Safety meeting; at this year’s meeting Jamie Robinson from Mahaska County Emergency Management Agency gave a refresher course.
