GRINNELL, Iowa – One week ago, the Grinnell College baseball team jumped into the national rankings for the first time in program history.

Since then, the Pioneers have rattled off five consecutive wins to push their way up the rankings ladder.

Grinnell, 30th in last week’s Collegiate Baseball/ABCA NCAA Division III poll, is now up to 20th with 148 votes. The Pioneers, who broke a program record for victories in a season, are 26-4 overall and a perfect 12-0 in the Midwest Conference South Division.

The Pioneers are receiving votes for the second week in a row in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA poll.
