Dream Big Grow Here is a statewide competition that attracts hundreds of entrepreneurs at different stages of business development and across many industries. SwineTech from New Sharon, Iowa presented at the Dream Big Grow Here competition in Des Moines on April 14. They were the winners of the Ag Innovation category and received $5,000. In addition, they pitched their dream amongst five other category winners and received an additional $5,000 as the overall winners. SwineTech provides technology to help farmers improve farrowing monitoring systems and reduce the number of piglets that die in farrowing facilities because they are being crushed by sows.
