Mahaska Health Partnership Hospital Auxiliary to Host Masquerade Jewelry Sale

MAHASKA COUNTY – Mahaska Health Partnership Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a Masquerade Jewelry and Accessories Sale on Thursday, April 21, from 9 am to 5 pm in the Cedar Bluff Learning Center (entrance #3) on the MHP campus.
The sale will feature jewelry, scarves, wallets and other accessories, all for $5. “This sale is one of our biggest fundraisers for the Hospital Auxiliary,” Hospital Auxiliary President Becke Arnold explained.
“All of the proceeds go to the Auxiliary, which we then use to purchase items that benefit patients of MHP. Through fundraisers like this, we have been able to purchase wheelchairs for patients, provide scholarships for local students wishing to pursue a career in healthcare and assisted in various initiatives that have impacted patient care.”
While the sale primarily focuses on jewelry and accessories, there are always unique items for any shopper. “This sale is a great opportunity to get some unique gifts for Mother’s Day, which is right around the corner, while supporting a great cause at the same time,” Arnold shared. “We hope to see you there!”
The MHP Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer organization that has helped promote and advance the welfare of MHP and its mission since 1955. They purchase needed medical equipment and support various hospital programs that benefit the community.
This group has provided support to the hospital through money raised through fundraisers as well as the gift shop, Whispering Tree Gifts, located inside entrance #4.
The Auxiliary also holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year, including jewelry, uniform, book and plant sales.
