Alumni Soccer

Oskaloosa past players got together Saturday before Easter, a tradition that began in 2015, for the 2nd annual Alumni soccer game at the Stadium at Lacey Complex. Greg Walter, current coach of Oskaloosa High Schools Boys Soccer said that it is a fundraiser that started last year when he coached the high school girls and decided that this would be a good fundraiser and alot of fun for the players. “This is a way for the Alumni to give back to both the boys and the girls soccer programs” said Walter. ” And a way to reunite past players to have fun and play. We schedule the game the Saturday before Easter each year so that players will know to put it on their schedules.” Any past high school soccer player, all ages, can join in the Alumni game. All proceeds will be given to the Oskaloosa High School Girls and Boys soccer teams. For more pictures of this year’s game go to mcrf.laceyrecreation and like us on Facebook.
