Hubbard Sprints Way to Weekly Award

Oskaloosa–Michael Hubbard (Fr., Gary, Ind., Exercise Science) was rewarded for a pair of solid efforts last week as he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week Monday.
A first-time recipient, Hubbard placed sixth in two sprinting events at the season-opening Grand View Invitational last Friday. The freshman ran the 100-meter dash in 11.72 seconds and the 200 in 24.25 seconds.
The award is the fifth for the men’s program this year (four track, one field).
