Jimenez-Boender Launches Campaign For Mahaska County Supervisor

On Wednesday, March, 23, 2016, Crystal Jimenez-Boender, launched her campaign for Supervisor of Mahaska County. A lifelong resident of Mahaska County, she is ready to help the County by facilitating a collaborative effort between the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Mahaska County. “I decided to run for County Supervisor because I want to see positive change and growth for Mahaska County. As a family, we have discussed this for over a year and came to the decision that now is the time to put my skills and education to use to help all citizens of Mahaska County,” Crystal said.

Crystal Jimenez-Boender has been with MidWestOne Bank for the past nine years as an internal auditor. Prior to that she was employed with Horizon Bank for eight years in various positions. Crystal graduated from Buena Vista in 2009 with degrees in Accounting and Finance. A few of Crystal’s volunteer positions include serving as the Vice President for the Institute of Internal Auditor’s for the past two years is currently the President-elect. She is also a member of the Altrusa Club of Oskaloosa, the OACDG Commerce Chair, and a leader for Mahaska Masters 4-H club. She and her husband, Scott, have been married for 17 years and have two children.
