Oskaloosa Junior Chamber Orchestra To Perform

On Tuesday, Feb. 23 the Oskaloosa Junior Chamber Orchestra Festival will take place at the First Presbyterian Church in Oskaloosa. Rehearsals in the afternoon will be followed by a 7:00 P.M. performance of the festival orchestra and the Oskaloosa High School Chamber Orchestra. Guest clinician, Tom Schilke, director of the Northern Iowa Junior Orchestra, will lead the festival orchestra. Thirty students in seventh through ninth grade from the Pella, Ottumwa and Oskaloosa area have been selected to participate in a chamber orchestra.

Students from Oskaloosa selected for the event include: Mark De Ronde, Sophia Dykstra, Maddie Hamilton, Joshua Hartl, Carter Huyser, Aaliyah LaCaze, Hunter Mason, Lauren Milledge, Riley Miller, Madison Muir, Grace Richardson, Ellie Snyder, Joanna Thury, Sullivan Tighe, Lisa VanDonselaar, Grace VerSteegh, Leah Wilcox.
