Statesmen Blanked by Grand View
Des Moines–The William Penn wrestling team learned how the rest of the NAIA has been feeling this winter as it fell 56-0 to #1 Grand View in dual-meet action Thursday.
The Statesmen (2-2) vacated three weights and unfortunately could only take one match the entire seven minutes. 157-pounder Christian Padilla (Sr., Tampa, Fla., Secondary Education) pushed Tanner Werner to the limit in a 14-7 loss.
Next Up: William Penn returns to Oskaloosa next Thursday to host Central in dual-meet action at 7 p.m.
