MAHASKA COUNTY– Mahaska Health Partnership wishes our patients and their families a wonderful holiday season. To ensure we are meeting the healthcare needs of our community while giving providers and staff time with their families, MHP’s holiday hours are listed below.
In addition, expanded Walk-In services will also be offered in the Medical Group. For specific hours, call 641.676.WALK (9255) or visit www.mahaskahealth.org.
MHP holiday hours are as follows:
Christmas Eve (Dec. 24)
Medical Group: appointments available until 3 pm. Call 641.672.3360.
Behavioral Health Services: appointments available until Noon. Call 641.672.3159.
Home Health, Hospice Services and Public Health: regular schedule but flu shot clinic and Meals on Wheels cancelled. Call 641.673.3257.
New Sharon Medical Center: appointments available until Noon. Call 641.637.2651.

Medical Group: closed.
Behavioral Health Services: closed.
Home Health, Hospice Services and Public Health: closed with no Meals on Wheels Delivery.
New Sharon Medical Center: closed.
Emergency Department: open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, should you have a medical emergency.
New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31)
Medical Group: appointments available until 5 pm. Call 641.672.3360.
Behavioral Health Services: appointments available 8 am to 5 pm. Call 641.672.3159.
Home Health, Hospice Services and Public Health: regular schedule but flu shot clinic cancelled. Meals on Wheels will be delivered. Call 641.673.3257.

Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, should you have a medical emergency.
During off hours and office closures, emergency assistance is always available. The Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 by physicians, nurses and paramedics. Emergency Behavioral Health assistance is available by calling 641.672.3100 and asking for the on-call therapist. Finally, a nurse is on call to assist home health and hospice patients in the event of an emergency.
