Foster Garners POW Award

Oskaloosa–Meaghan Foster (Sr., Centerville, Iowa, Physical Education) qualified for nationals in her first try of the indoor season and for that was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Monday.
Foster collected her second career laurel as she hit the NAIA’s ‘B’ standard in the shot put at the Central Dutch Holiday Preview last Saturday. The senior placed second with a mark of 42-5.5. She also finished fourth in the weight throw at 46-6.
The award is the first for the women’s program this year and the second for WPU.
