GRINNELL’S IAN DIXON-ANDERSON NAMED MWC MEN’S SWIMMING PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second week in a row, Grinnell College’s Ian Dixon-Anderson ’17 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.
Dixon-Anderson, from Princeton Junction, N.J. (West Windsor-Plainsboro), played a huge role in the Pioneers dominating the field at the Monmouth College Invitational on Saturday. He claimed first in two events, the 100-yard butterfly and 100 backstroke with times of 54.86 and 56.28, respectively.
Dixon-Anderson also took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:05.42 and was part of the runner-up 400 freestyle relay squad that finished in 3:20.83. Grinnell won the meet with 150 points, 64 more than the runner-up squad.
