Oskaloosa–The William Penn soccer programs each gained a few positions as the NAIA’s second Modified Ratings Percentage Indexes were released Wednesday.

Despite falling in three of their last four games, the men (8-6-1, 4-3 Heart) actually moved up three slots to a program-best #44 (out of 192 teams) with a mark of .477169, while the women (5-9, 2-5 Heart), who have also faced adversity lately, jumped five notches to #137 (191 total teams) at .295631.

The men are ranked fifth among Heart of America Athletic Conference programs; three league teams are in the top 10. Vanguard (Calif.) takes over the top spot at .907191, just .000017 ahead of Northwestern Ohio. Rio Grande (Ohio), Davenport (Mich.), and Oklahoma Wesleyan round out the top five.
