Mahaska Health Partnership’s Free Women’s Breast Health Night Huge Success

More than 250 people attended Mahaska Health Partnership’s Free Women’s Breast Health Night on Oct. 20 at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa. The event featured Cancer Survivor Christina Hoksbergen of Bussey sharing her journey along with Family Practice Physician and Women’s Health Expert Valerie Bonnett, MD, as the keynote speaker. Dr. Bonnett shared her philosophies related to natural hormone replacement therapies and addressed numerous questions from the audience. Attendees also received valuable health information about mammography, were offered multiple educational booths, as well as free blood pressure and blood glucose tests.
