Oskaloosa–Silvia Munoz (Sr., Paramount, Calif., Elementary Education) scored at will last week and was honored for great play as she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the week Monday.

Munoz, who was honored for the second time in her career, tallied a hat trick of three goals last Saturday in a 7-1 win over Evangel (Mo.).

The senior managed goals in the 31st, 42nd, and 55th minutes to post her second-straight hat trick. She also assisted on another score for a seven-point performance.

So far this year, Munoz has scored a team-best six goals with two assists for a team-high 14 points. She is just the fifth player in program history to record multiple hat tricks in her career.

The award is the second for William Penn this fall.
