Des Moines, Iowa – The logistics of landing a helicopter at the Iowa State Fair can be a hassle. Republican presidential candidate and real-estate mogul Donald Trump, found a way to make it happen at a near-by parking lot.

For several happy youngsters, a ride on Donald Trump’s private, 7-million dollar Sikorsky certainly made their day.

The ball cap wearing billionaire, with his campaign slogan of “Make America Great Again” on it, was certainly all smiles on a video clip supplied by Iowa filmmaker Monte Goodyk. In the video, you can hear one young passenger ask Trump if he is Batman.

“I am Batman,” says Trump, in a playful voice, in response to the question. After all, Trump does call New York home. New York is often otherwise known as Gotham to many.

Ryan Keller, Iowa Deputy State Director for Trump, told Oskaloosa News, “Mr. Trump was excited to attend the Iowa State Fair, marking the day on his personal calendar months ago. Mr. Trump walked through the fairgrounds meeting a huge crowd of supporters while kids continued to ride in his helicopter.”

Goodyk, who is the producer of the upcoming documentary “The Nominees”, passed along a Go-Pro camera to one of the young passengers because he wanted to get that perspective. The comment from Trump appeared to be one of those moments that showcased another facet of Trump to voters.

“Mr. Trump is a father and Grandfather. He loves spending time with kids. It was a genuine moment that shows his softer side,” added Keller.

Goodyk’s quest to provide a different perspective on the run for the White House came from a belief that “We [don’t] get the truth from the mainstream media, so I decided that I had to find out for myself.”

You can find Goodyk at most political functions around the state, and he often travels to other states in order to help round out the behind-the-scenes view that many voters never see.
