FREE ADMISSION AND FREE KIDS EVENTS TOO!
It’s Bands, Brews and of course BACON at the second annual BaconTown! event at the Bridgeview Center this Saturday in Ottumwa. Vendors are dillgently putting the finishing touches on over 53 bacon inspired items to sample. Admission is free, and attendees purchase samples starting at $1. See the list below for a sneak peak at some of the delicious items that will be on hand. In addition to locally inspired Bacon items, 18 Craft beers will be on hand to sample as well! Bridgeview Center’s expo halls will be converted to a town scene for the event which runs from 2-11pm. Gather in the town square and enjoy food and beverage while hanging out with your friends and checking out the BaconArt or enjoying the music!
The C1st Kids Zone runs from 2-6pm in the air-conditioned lobby of Bridgeview Center.

Cargill has provided all the bacon for the chefs! Taste more than 50 items… like bacon-wrapped smoked pineapple, bacon loaded smoked white cheddar Mac & Cheese, jumbo chicken drumbstick wrapped in bacon, Hush Piggys, Beer & Bacon Chili, Philipino Bacon on a stick, and many more!
