Oskaloosa, Iowa – July 2015—The Interpower® Group of Companies will celebrate 40 years in business on July 31, 2015. The public is invited to an open house on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Oskaloosa facility. Tours will be offered with employees available to answer questions.

Located at 100 Interpower Avenue in Oskaloosa (approximately one mile north of William Penn University on Highway 63), Interpower is the premier supplier of power system components worldwide. The focus of the company is to make it easy for customers to design, build, and maintain products for worldwide markets.

Originally known as Panel Components Corporation, the company was founded by Bob Wersen in 1975 in California. In 1993, Wersen successfully moved the company to Oskaloosa. Also in 1993, Interpower Components Limited started operations in the United Kingdom. In 2000, a new manufacturing facility began operation in Lamoni, Iowa and in 2002 a new facility in Ames, Iowa was completed. Interpower Corporation became the official company name in 2004.
