Drug Investigation Leads to Search Warrants and Arrests

South-East Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force

On Saturday, June 20, 2015, at approximately 6:00 a.m., local, state, and federal law enforcement authorities executed multiple search and arrest warrants throughout Ottumwa and Wapello County. This investigation identified a significant Drug Trafficking Organization that was responsible for the importation and distribution of methamphetamine in Iowa, and other areas in the United States.

The following is a list of residences searched by police:

* 911 Chester, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Jose Jimenez and Stacey Jimenez.
* 144 Grandview, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Maria Zaragoza-Ramos and Thomas Villalobos-Cardenas.
* 1133 South Street #5, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Wesley Melendez-Landeros and Rose Melendez.
* 16343 Rock Bluff Road, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Christopher Sigala.
* 1508 Hamilton, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Carlos Ramon Mulatillo.
* 319 W. 5th Street Apartment A, the residence of Kyle Glenn Reynolds.
* 902 Center, Ottumwa, IA, the residence of Michelle Gillen and David Eakins.
* 1420 Silverwood Lane, Ottumwa, IA the residence of Omar and Osvaldo Torres
* 10433 155th Ave, Ottumwa, IA (Continued on next page)

As a result of the searches, officers seized methamphetamine, cash, drug paraphernalia, and items consistent with the distribution of drugs.

Below is a list of people that have been arrested as a result of this case and their respective charges:

Jose Alfredo Jimenez-Enriquez, age 37, of 911 Chester, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Kilograms of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony-Enhanced Penalty
* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, (3 Counts) Class B Felonies
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, (3 Counts) Class D Felonies

Stacey Marie Jimenz-Enriquez, age 50, of 911 Chester, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, (3 Counts) Class B Felonies
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D Felony

Wesley Melendez-Landeros, age 34, of 1133 South Street #5, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony

Rose Marie Melendez, age 26, of 1133 South Street #5, Ottumwa was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony

Carlos Ramon Mulatillo, age 26, of 1508 Hamilton, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, (6 Counts) Class B Felonies
* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, (6 Counts) Class D Felonies

Maria Jesus Zaragoza-Ramos, age 67, of 144 Grandview, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D Felony

Tomas Villalobos Cardenas, age 63, of 144 Grandview, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D Felony

Michelle Gillen, age 47, of 902 Center, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine (3 Counts), Class B Felonies
* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Conspiracy to Deliver Less Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony

David Joseph Eakins, age 51, of 902 Center, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Delivery of Less Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony

Christian Ryan Strom, age 25, of 700 W. Alta Vista Lot 103, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Kilograms of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony-Special Sentence

Osvaldo Torres, age 21, of 144 Grandview, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with the following:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony
* Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, a Class D Felony

Omar Torres, age 23, of 144 Grandview, Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with the following:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony

Terry Wade Sellwood, age 51, of Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with the following:

* Conspiracy to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B felony

All arrested were transported to the Wapello County Jail.
