Seddon Repeats, Booton Wins First Booster Club Honor

Oskaloosa–The William Penn University Athletics Booster Club has announced the recipients of May’s Player of the Month awards.
Sophomore track and field athlete Derek Seddon (Knoxville, Iowa, Physical Education) won the Male award, while junior women’s golfer Natalie Booton (Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Elementary Education) won the Female honor.
The award is the second for Seddon, while Booton is a first-time honoree.
Seddon tossed the discus a distance of 174-10.25 to place fourth at the NAIA National Track and Field Championships. Booton was also strong at nationals, tying for 40th with a score of 315 (78-83-76-78) to help WPU place 12th overall.
