Scholar-Athlete Recognition to Swink

Oskaloosa–Jeremy Swink (Sr., Burlington, Iowa, Physical Education) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2014-2015 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete Thursday.

Swink, who owned a 3.62 Grade Point Average, was among a list of 165 men’s golfers from within the NAIA to be awarded the laurel. The honor is the first of his career.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
