GRINNELL’S ANTHONY MACK NAMED TO ABCA/RAWLINGS ALL-REGION TEAM

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Anthony Mack ’16 has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Central Region Team for the 2015 season.

Mack, a center fielder from Libertyville, Ill. (Libertyville), was a third-team selection. He earned All-Region honors last year, as well.

Mack, a two-time All-Midwest Conference selection, hit .345 with 49 hits in 142 at bats this season. He belted four homers, four triples and 11 doubles to go along with 25 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He accumulated a .563 slugging percentage.

The Central Region Player of the Year is Kyle Engel of the University of Chicago, while the Pitcher of the Year is Bryan Polowy of North Central University.
