Knoxville Robbery And Assault Leads To Arrest
A Knoxville Police Department Press Release
At about 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, Knoxville Police Officers were requested at a residence on E. South Street in Knoxville.
Officers arrived and learned that a male had entered the residence and assaulted the 65-year old female resident.
While at the residence officers were provided information which led officers began looking for 54-year old Knoxville resident, Fred Allan Smith.
Mr. Smith was quickly located and arrested. Mr. Smith is charged with Robbery 1st Degree, a Class B Felony and Assault with the Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor.
The investigation into this incident is on-going.
