Bosek Nabs Second League Award

Oskaloosa–Shane Bosek (Jr., Lowry, Minn., Physical Education) surpassed 20 points twice as he claimed his second Midwest Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award Monday.

Bosek averaged 22.0 points and 4.5 rebounds last week to help right William Penn’s ship. The Statesmen are now 14-9 overall (3-4 MCC).

The junior shot 65.5% from the field and 60.0% from behind the arc, pouring in 24 points against Clarke and 20 versus Viterbo.

For the season, he is shooting 56.6% from the field (33.7% 3-PT) and 74.5% at the line. The guard, who is averaging 5.9 rebounds per outing, has also tallied 28 assists, 19 blocks, and five steals.

The award is the second for William Penn this year.
