Donna Lee (Breuklander) Leech, 86, Oskaloosa Iowa died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at the Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa. She was born Thursday, March 29, 1928, in Oskaloosa Iowa to Edward and Eva C. (Petersen) Breuklander.

Donna graduated high school in 1946 in Oskaloosa and played clarinet in the band. Donna married Eugene (Gene) H. Leech on November 4, 1951 in Oskaloosa and he died December 15, 1990.

Donna went on to work at the Leech family business, Edgetown Dairy as bookkeeper, then Mahaska Hospital until their children were older. Donna obtained her real estate license and worked for over 30 years buying and selling real estate.

Her many passions were playing cards, reading, playing the organ and traveling. She worked tirelessly for her family and friends throughout her life.

Donna is survived by her children: Michael E. Leech of Huntsville, Alabama, Patricia A. Leech of Peyton Colorado, Karen L. Leech of Oskaloosa, and Karol S. Leech of Oskaloosa.

She is preceded in death by husband Eugene H. Leech (1990); her parents; and her sister, Margaret Manley.

The funeral service will be at Bates Funeral Home Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10 am.
As was her wish her body has been cremated.
Visitation will be in the Bates Funeral Chapel after 2 P.M. Sunday and the family will be present Sunday from 2-4 P.M. to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa.
