The Oskaloosa Indian Boys Swim Team is off and swimming in their first year as a boys swim team. They have 11 swimmers with 5 of them being seniors and 6 of them being sophomores and freshman. They have been having a lot of personal best times this year and are continuing to work hard to take more time off in the future. In swimming there is only 1 class for everyone and with mainly the bigger schools having swim teams it definitely makes Oskaloosa one of the smallest teams in the state so the boys have to work extra hard to compete. Their first 2 meets of the year the team traveled to Newton to swim against the teams of Newton/Pella, Indianola/Knoxville, Decorah, Grinnell, Vinton-Shellsburg, Atlantic, and Boone and came away with several personal bests. The times below were the personal bests for these 2 meets listed in the order of how the events take place.
