Oskaloosa—Statesmen women’s soccer star Alyce Correia (So., Perth, Australia, Elementary Education) gathered up one more postseason accolade Tuesday.

The sophomore was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire all-Midwest Region team. A total of 11 players earned the honor given out by the coaches’ association.

She paced William Penn to a 7-8-3 record (3-2-1 MCC) and their first home tournament game in nine years. WPU’s win total was its highest since 2005.

Already a first-team all-Midwest Collegiate Conference selection, Correia was her team’s strength in the midfield. She finished with three goals (one game-winner) and three assists for nine points.
