Oskaloosa–2013 First-Team All-Americans Brandon Beasley and Keith Steffeck will once again be teammates as Beasley recently signed to also play in Luxembourg.

Beasley has left his team in Saudi Arabia and will join Steffeck on BBC Sparta Bertrange, a franchise in the Total League.

The Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Year during the 2012-2013 season, Beasley had been working out with the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, but did not pass up on a chance to once again suit up with Steffeck. As seniors, they led William Penn to a 34-2 record and an appearance in the NAIA Division II National Championship title game.

Beasley, who also spent time in Dubai and was picked in last year’s NBDL’s Draft by the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Mad Ants (48th overall), most recently helped Uhud win the Saudi Arabian Premier League regular season title and reach the postseason semifinals. He led the league in scoring (believed between 24-25 points per game) and was second in rebounding.

According to league rules, only two Americans are allowed on each team so BBC Sparta Bertrange is going all-in with the navy and gold.

BBC Sparta Bertrange’s season will begin next week; the 34-game season ends in April.
