I am writing in support of Mark Doland as Mahaska County Supervisor. Mark has shown integrity and fairness in dealing with the community and issues that involve Mahaska County. His concerns lie with the citizens, always taking their wants and needs into consideration and acting on their behalf when making decisions or taking a stance. Mr. Doland chooses to get to know the people of Mahaska County and to talk one on one with individuals as he works with various agencies and participates in community activities. He wants to know what is going on, he wants to be involved, he shows support, and he encourages positive change. Mark is extremely approachable, personable, and he genuinely cares about his position as Mahaska County Supervisor and those within our community. He wants his constituents to be informed and knowledgeable in regard to what is occurring in their county because it is their right to know. Mark Doland encourages citizens to voice their ideas, thoughts, and opinions on the improvements needed to make Mahaska County a better place not just for us to live but to raise our families in. Mark is very community focused and demonstrates natural leadership skills which are traits that have proven to be assets to Mahaska County. During his time as Mahaska County Supervisor we have witnessed his dedication to our citizens through tax decreases, addressing public transportation issues, and mental health needs. Mark Doland is not out to help the “Big Guy” he is out to make Mahaska County a better place for all of us , a place we are proud to call to “home”. On June 3rd, I will be voting for Mark Doland as Mahaska County Supervisor.

Sincerely,
Christina Garr-Kime
