Grubbs Brothers Ice Fish at Lacey Pond

While the Lacey Recreation Complex fields are hidden under patches of snow this March, the Lacey Pond entertained a few visitors on Friday afternoon. Oskaloosa brothers, Alex and Luke Grubbs, took advantage of the day off from school by ice fishing at the Lacey Pond. Luke stated, “With about 16 inches of ice we are taking advantage of one of our last opportunities to ice fish this winter.” In the mean time, Alex was proving to have a successful day by reeling in 4 fish in under 20 minutes!
