For four Osky wrestlers their dreams of winning a state title began at Wells Fargo in Des Moines Thursday afternoon, and it was a good overall performance for the first day.

Osky headed into the first day of the State Wrestling Tournament with wanting to show the state that they were there to make some noise, in hopes of getting up on the podium on Saturday night. One day down and all four Osky wrestlers are still alive and moving on to Friday. Two of the four wrestlers, Seniors Mason Wisse and Drea Lamb, are moving on with first round wins and the other two, Junior Skylar DeJong and Freshman Drew Sams, are alive after losing their first round matches, but then came out fighting and won in the consolation first round.
