Iowa Hall of Pride Challenge basketball game tonight

The IHSAA and the IGHSAU have approved a scrimmage basketball game between Oskaloosa and Albia high schools to be held this evening. The game will also be a community service project with food and winter coat donations being accepted at the door. The IHSAA and IGHSAU is requiring  each high school basketball team in the state to be responsible for a community service project this season.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for a student. You can get half price admission if you donate a winter coat or canned good at the door. Activity passes will NOT be honored. All items received tonight will be donated to SIEDA and the Mahaska County Food Shelter. The girls game will begin at 6 pm with the girls playing two 16 minute halves and the guys game will begin at approximately 7:45 pm. The guys team will also play two 16 minutes halves.
