YMCA Dolphin Take Part In Quadrangular Meet

The Oskaloosa YMCA Dolphins traveled last weekend to take part in a large quadrangular meet against Ankeny, Indianola, and Atlantic. Oskaloosa came away with 8 first place finishes and another 16 top 3 finishes during the meet. The Dolphins are steadily improving with the swimmers coming away with 42 personal best times during the day as well. Coach Reese is enjoying the improvement that the swimmers are achieving and is looking forward to seeing them move on in the future to swim with the newly formed Osky Indian high school swim team. The next swim meet for the Dolphins is Feb 1st and it is a home meet, so please come on out and support the kids and see what the swim team is all about. Their following swim meets will be going into the post season as it is districts at Ankeny, State swim meet at Marshalltown, the YMCA Regional at the new University of Iowa pool, and then the large Midwest regional meet at the University of Minnesota where several kids have qualified to swim as well.
