Oskaloosa–Dani Stahle (Sr., South Weber, Utah, History/Government & Psychology) led the Statesmen women’s basketball team in its lone competition last week and her efforts netted her Midwest Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors Monday.

Stahle claimed her first honor by helping William Penn (7-6) against Central last Wednesday. She scored a team-high 13 points with seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the contest. The senior played 35 minutes and made one three-pointer and hit both of her free throws.

For the year, Stahle is pacing the navy and gold with 12.8 points per outing. She also has 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals. The guard is hitting a team-high 55.0% from the field (38.9% 3-PT) and 79.4% at the charity stripe. She has topped WPU in scoring five times this season.

It is the first honor for the program this year.
