Oskaloosa–Another win has jumped the William Penn men’s cagers four positions as the NAIA released its second regular season Division II poll Tuesday.
The Statesmen (9-4), winners of nine in a row, improve to #29 with 24 points.
Embry-Riddle (Fla.), one of just two undefeated programs in the division, remains #1 with 340 points and nine first-place votes. Southern Oregon, with one first-place vote, is second, while Cardinal Stritch (Wis.), with two top votes, is third. Indiana-Southeast, which has the final first-place vote, and Bethel (Ind.) round out the top five.
St. Ambrose, at #21, and Clarke, at #35, also represent the Midwest Collegiate Conference in the rating.
William Penn travels to Wichita, Kan. next Tuesday to face Friends in non-conference action at 8 p.m.
