Oskaloosa, Iowa – Oskaloosa resident Michelle Purdum is helping to bring a fun and creative event to Oskaloosa this Friday night. It’s a social event, but one that helps to spark creativity.

“About a month ago, I was invited to a private party that involved Wine & Canvas painting with friends. I’d heard of these events in Des Moines but had yet to sign myself up for one so this opportunity was not going to pass me by! I found it to be a casual, laid back set up….”

“Wine or other beverages as preferred were available via cash bar and the instructors provided step by step guidance to create what otherwise would not have even come close… It was GREAT!!!”

While at the event, Purdum said she started talking with the two ladies about bringing the Wine & Canvas event to Oskaloosa. Purdum said, “They offer private (Minimum 15 committed) Wine & Canvas as well as Cookies & Canvas parties (for kids) and will travel within a 60 mile radius of Des Moines. They also hold regular events at restaurants & bars around the Des Moines area bringing business to venues and fun to all who attend.”

“I decided to have an open event on Friday, December 6th here in Oskaloosa to see how much interest there might be in having regular events. Friday’s event will start at 6:30 and is being help in the upper level of the Elks Lodge. There is still room and cost for all supplies but your choice of drink is $35.”

You can sign up for Friday’s fun using the following LINK – https://www.wineandcanvas.com/wine-and-canvas-calendar-des-moines-ia.html
